Yes, we have it covered with a good aviary net. I take her out there every time except in the morning because when she decides to get up is when the sprinklers are going. And she poops every morning and likes to run a bit before that. But all other times I take her to the fenced area. She will outlast me and then come in and pee. I am sure it is because the breeder had her in an area with linoleum and she learned that was where she needed to go. I have had here since she was 10 weeks old and she is now 5 months and we are still working on it. I though maybe there might be some great trick I did not know about. She is my first puppy I have ever had a problem potty training. Our 7 year old Shelty goes out there and I thought that might help her get the idea, but so far it has not worked. She will use the doggy door to go in and out just fine....but does not want to potty while she is out there. Seems to think it is just to get her outside to enjoy the fresh air. : (
