Well that was a devastating appointment. My vet was surprised the other doctor didn't aspirate it, but the other vet said on the first visit (then had 2 week follow-up) it would bleed profusely and he didn't want to do that.
My vet aspirated it, it is malignant melanoma. He said the lump I found last time, he didn't think was anything, but he did find an enlarged lymph node and aspirated that. He said looked like it had spread to the lymph node as well, but her lungs are clear. He said surgery should have been done immediately!! It's been nearly a month the other vet had me wait. He said if it was his dog he would def. do the surgery, otherwise the tumor on her foot will get larger and she will have less time.
He only does surgery on Thursdays, but is getting her in on his lunch break tomorrow -that's what kind of guy he is.
I broke down and cried in front of him, the vet tech, and another tech just outside the room, and I never cry, ever!
I guess I had my hopes up that it would be nothing; this is just really shocking and unexpected. Seriously, thought it was a bug bite. I think Emmy is only 8. Heartbroken
