There was that awful story here recently about a member tripping on a broken concrete drive-way, suddenly falling forward on her baby in the sling and the poor little thing was killed then and there from blood loss, what I think she said was thought to be a ruptured aorta. I never even thought about a sling carrier with the dog snug in the hammock-like bag part being at risk of being crushed if the wearer should fall forward with their full weight on the dog!
