Safer but didn't improve her ID. As a result, we put her tags on her puppia harness and she went collarless and chipped. We didn't need noise to find her when she was little as it's just two of us now and she just kind of stayed with us. Her collar arrived today and we promptly put it on her with lots of praise. So far, so good. We will only put it on when we are right with her until her stitch is completely healed since we don't want her to scratch at the collar in the area removal. Time will tell.
When they can get their jaw under it it's still to big. It's scary though. I am not comfortable not having a collar on them so they had to get used to it. I would take it off at night when they went in their crate but other then that I had one on them at all times and they just had to get used to them. It's so funny I grew up with several mixed breed dogs and non of them did that but the yorkies did.
