Well reputable breeders only use AKC in the US so by buying from breeders who use other registrys then you are supporting bad breeders. The AKC is not perfect and they can't regulate everything. One person had registered a table as a dog awhile back with one of the other registrys. If you want a full breed dog the AKC is the only registry in the US.
