Default breeding

I think I have been extremely lucky..30 yrs is a lifetime. I have never had a bitch with a unterine infection or mastitis..never had one with no milk or toxic milk. Never had a mother reject a litter or kill any. All bounced back and returned to their former state of good health and most went on to live a long retired life.
I experienced eclampsia twice..but both times when the bitch was rebred it was avoided and all was well. I can only remember two bitches who never conceived. Never had a sterile male.
Puppy problems have run the gamet of the norm..that is the worst for me.

BUT I had a dear, Yorkie club friend who lived a block from me for 20 years. There was nothing she did not experince...I learned it all from her. It seemed like her troubles never ended...she never spared vet expense to find an answer ..many things still remain a mystery.
You can do everything right and it can all go wrong, you can do everything wrong and it all turns out well...I know some very careful breeders who have terrible results..just does not seem fair.
