In my opinion, most vets give/promote and OVERvaccinate Bordetella vaccine indiscriminately - to be totally honest.
"Kennel Cough" is the dog version of the human cold. It's just kinda ridiculous...bc like the human cold, there are hundreds of strains of "kennel cough". And the Bordetella vaccine vaccinates for only about 7 of them. So yeah, you tend to ask yourself..."why give it then..?" -- exactly
. It's not very useful at the end of the day, it's most certainly not necessary, and it can def cause issues in puppies that can go on for months and months.
