If I could afford it, I'd feed primarily canned food over dry. It's too $$$ for my 18lb and 16lb dogs lol. But I think it's superior. Less processed, less carbs, etc. I feed Weruva canned food mixed in with our dry food (usually Acana or Orijen Senior).
Freeze dried can be great. It also tends to be pricier which is why I haven't fed it. Some can be high in fat too (which isn't always bad but the breed can be prone to pancreatitis sometimes). |
