I don't trust myself to trim Bella safely--I'm afraid that I'll cut her tender areas with the shaver. Also, she can hold her tail down really tight. It takes a second person to hold her tail, plus she's squirming. The vet did a good job with her emergency sanitary trim, and she hasn't had any more problems.
