 Zoey - GI Issues, Need Help
My 8 year old yorkie is definitely not her peppy self - doesn't jump on couch - doesn't bark muck - stays very close to us -is very Leary when going up steps - she seems afraid. Her stomach is swollen. I have taken her to the vet - she is on Prednisolone-Metronidazole eating only prescription diet food w/d -I/d and -d/d which I mix together each morning and night for she was vomiting - diarrhea . Vomiting has stopped and stool is starting to harden a little but she is definitely not herself and I was told she would have to take her medicines forever or how long she lives- I am worried she won't be herself again - please help me understand that I am doing the right thing for her
