Well you came to the right place for your questions and welcome to YT! I am not a Yorkie expert by any means but this is what I have done. As far as eating Georgie has access to food 24/7, I free feed him so he can eat whenever he wants since he isn't like a big dog and doesn't eat much at once. Smaller dogs don't have much reserve so I always want to make sure he has food if he wants it. As far as giving too much freedom I honestly have never (except for 30 minutes the first night he came home) put him in a crate. Not that I have a problem with crate training I just work from home when I want and can keep an eye on him. As far as the wee wee pads I think it's like any other dog trial and error. The more effort you put into it the more your baby will get used to using them. Also rewards for doing so help as well. Best of luck and again welcome
