My Max starting having terrible night episodes when he reached 14. The vet called it night time dementia. It was so sad. The only way I could calm his was to carry him around the house. I think some of it was congestive heart failure was filling his lungs when he would try to sleep. I'm so sorry you are going through this. It was a very difficult time.
