A major consits of 3 points, 4 points or 5 points. You need two of these in the total 15 points to obtain a Championship. There is no such thing as minor's. We call them singles at AKC shows.
A single can be one or two points. All of these depend on how many dogs entered at the show in your breed, as to how many points you can recieve.
I just this past weeknd finished my girl Tango. With her third 4 point major going breed over the Champion special in Columbia, Missouri.
She finished rather quickly with limited showing. I hope I have as good of luck with her children one day when I breed her.
