The same for our CKC lab, who also passed away last year. She was 16 yr old with no health issues throughout her happy life. I absolutely support breeding healthy and breed specific. I showed in Obedience, my AKC sheepdogs, for years. I have purchased and rescued many dogs in my 73 years...AKC, CKC, and NO registration, We were blessed that all our loved dogs lived long, healthy lives. I anticipate the same for these two CKC puppies.
I grew up with mutts all my life so I am not bothered by mixes. Once you see a dog suffer and have to look in their little suffering eyes and its because of a health issue a breeder didn't care about you to will hate bad breeders.
