Just seeing this! How close a call was that with your daughter and your baby?!?!? So glad both are safe! Anyone THAT bold and lack of judgment could have hurt your daughter just to get the dog! I'm SO relieved it ended well but golly, who would think somebody would take such a huge chance in public? Hopefully she didn't go on further away and successfully steal her a dog from an owner who'd turned away or was on a cane or something! What a horrible person so self-absorbed that she doesn't care about stealing another's beloved dog!!!

First Christmas I had Tibbe, he was outside in the cold weather going potty & I had come inside where it was warm to watch him through the big den windows until he was done. A car came slowly down the alley and reappeared a couple mins. later, stopped by my back fence with all 4 adults in the car smiling out at Tibbe. Suddenly two adults got out, I got up and started toward the den door and the two were approaching my boat gate latch just as I got through the den, utility room and out the back door, yelling all the while as Tibbe was coming toward me. They looked at me, turned and quickly scurried into the back seat of the car and the driver floored it! I have no doubt they were going to try to take my Tibbe right out of his own yard. And I don't doubt they could easily see me sitting beside the big window when they decided to stop! UGH! Horrible dog thieves!!!
