I knew all along that I would have Jackson in my bed eventually. I just wanted him first to be safe & of course not deal with pottying in the bed.

I resorted to a soft sided crate ON my bed with me LOL. That way I could comfort him by being right beside him but knew he was still safe in the crate so could sleep easier.

We had a few weeks of a middle of the night potty trip... I remember our schedule being like 9pm let out, then we would try to go to sleep, he would wake up around 1-2am again for a pee break and then wake up again around 7 or 8am.

Didn't last long though. The first night I let him sleep out of the crate was the first night he slept through the night, and the rest was history. He was strictly outdoor trained though - not pads.
