I know for a fact that when I first brought my baby Casie home at 5 months, 4 lbs, she was able to scale any that was like a mesh, no problem. It was hilarious (and scary) when I caught her in the act, feet dangling and trying to climb over.
I had to be creative and put up a solid barricade using boxes. Of course, then she started to tear up the boxes (it's not a favourite past time of hers if I ever leave large cardboard boxes around).
It was one challenge after another. Really got my creative juices flowing. Ahh..the good old puppy days. They are like little Houdini's!
