I think I may have been missing Boomer a lot still. I stayed home today due to the Blizzard and loved watching her play as I worked on the computer. My heart just became over joyed with love for her.

I get it. Isn't that great, the moment you realize "I absolutely ADORE my little one!" So for me, yes, it can take a while. I don't automatically bond and just take a bit before I give my whole heart to a 'new' dog but once it happens, I'm done for good and forever. Enjoy your new love!
