I also am having my Lil Girl flown in on the 20th, only 8 days from now! I have one girl now, Pixie. I flwe out to get her and she flew back with me! It was a long trip! The nutrical is a must have! They do get stressed when traveling, and they most likely wont eat kibble. They will lick the nutrical off your finger! Its a high calorie suppliment that will really keep them going!
As far as the vet apt. Its a must do! I have one set up for the 24th for my new girl. You should have your new girl checked out ASAP! Just to be sure everything is ok with her and that her shots are up to date. Your vet will catch anything your loving new mommy eyes wont. You also need to establish a relationship with a vet in the case that you ever need on. You want to have someone you know and trust that you can go to in case of emergency. Someone that knows you and your dog, and has a record of her health history.
