 Need help with my Yorkie
Crosby is 3 he is about 4.4 lb we have him a month now but ever since we got him he has been having seizures like once a week or few days longer. blood work showed nothing so Vet put him on meds we started this Sunday and last night he had another episode still pretty long but less intense than the other 3. i read the phenobarbital will take a week or two before having any effect. he is also on the Green bag Rachel Ray food( thinking about switching any suggestions??)... any suggestions on the seizures the meds? was going to get him MRI but do not have 2,200-3,500$$. and no history on previous episodes (got him due to the previous owners had bigger dog and baby and that couldn't handle his marking in the house, never seen him have a seizure)... i did some googling but others experience is always helpful.. I m worried and wanted advice... we really love him he made our family life complete... |
