Welcome to YT and thank you for rescuing. I agree with yorkietalkjilly, remove the rug or, block that room off so she cannot get to it. This little girl is going through many changes right now, new momma, new home, new smells, new sounds, new schedules. She has so many new things to get use to. I would not give her free roam of the home, confine her to one area when she cannot be supervised. Treat reward and praise like crazy when she pees or poops on the pad. Even if she was 100% pad trained before coming to you does not mean she will hit the mark in her new home, consistency and lots of patience are key factors in potty training a new pup.
