Thank you in advance!!

FYI... She's 15 months old.
Congratulations on your new little girl! BIG, BIG changes in your little baby's life these last 3 weeks, leaving her former home, going to a new one, new 'pack', possibly missing old friends/family, having to learn what you expect of her. No doubt she's very uncertain of life right now. Even older, perfectly housebroken dogs will want to chose pee/poo spots for themselves to help themselves feel more at home when they come into a new home so even they have to be largely re-trained in that situation until they establish appropriate potty habits. I'd make it easy on both of you and remove the yellow designer rug for the time of re-training or at least bar her access to it while she being shown the ropes at how it works at your house.

Baby girl is just seeking a spot she feels most comfortable to poo and right now, it's your precious rug! Later, you can very carefully and with much oversight re-introduce the rug after she's made herself some new habits of where to poo and those habits are long-ingrained in her psyche. But for the time being, I'd make it totally impossible for her to get to my designer rug.
