Tell me how I'm supposed to cut off this little dog's tail. I could never bring myself to do something like that.
My wife and I named her Amber Waves after a character in my wife's favorite movie, Boogie Nights.
I love her long tail and floppy ears. She wouldn't be my dog any other way. Also, she is now 9 years old and still has a black and tan coat. Only one other dog in the litter had floppy ears. The rest had the prick ears. And only one other dog in the litter has stayed black and tan. The rest turned grey (silver blue, whatever).
These little differences are what makes her special, at least to me. And honestly, that's all that really matters.
