My initial response was spank the crap out 'em. But that's more then likely not the best solution. My daughter once did something at the mall and I made her stand in the a corner between 2 stores. She was great for the rest of the day.
My youngest used to bite. I crammed a bar of soap in her mouth and she never did it again.
Not saying these were the best or smartest solutions but at the time it worked.

I did that soap thing once to my oldest daughter. As luck would have it, she was allergic. I ran to the E.R. with her all swollen and full of hives. What a jerk I felt like
