Definitely keep the ears trimmed like Matese said. I didn't do so well with Monroe when she was a pup because I thought I liked the looked of hair flowing from her ears... her ears still droop sometimes when she's not feeling well or is tired. Lesson learned! I use a small trimmer on their ears; it took a couple times for them to be okay with the sound but it's a breeze now. It's also great for trimming their "sanitary areas" & feet :-)

Congrats on your new baby! Yorkies are something truly special!!!
