My girl dog, Pfeiffer, humps her donut bed almost every morning. *Shrugs* - I don't care. She likes to do that, and again, it's not hurting anyone or anything.

I honestly never understand why people are so very concerned in repressing a *natural* desire in animals. It's not like they're humping people's legs. In the 12 years I've had my current dogs, never once has an attempt been made to hump a human.

So my opinion, obviously, is to leave it be.
This definitely makes sense & was always my thinking with my males dogs. But, my Chihuahua got to the point where the little pink part would come out and get stuck out. He'd get super upset & squeak and try to lick it to get it back in. I'd wet it and help... (gross). The vet said we could use KY Jelly, which worked... ugh! So, I was afraid he'd end up doing it when I wasn't home to help... and he was such a baby I didn't think he'd handle that well. Plus, it was just gross. Haha. So, we did begin to tell him "No" and took the toys he liked when we weren't home. He learned pretty quick
