You should never put coconut oil topically on a dog. It creates a warm environment and is food for yeast to grow. If you want to give it orally that is fine, but it does not give the same benefit as fish oil. Dogs do not digest it as much. A good over the counter cleaner to have Epi Oti Advanced or Duoxo Micellar.
