But, yes, I would definitely take him to the vet to check for UTI possibly.

To answer the original question -- Jackson is 18lbs and I would say he HAS to pee 4x a day. If we are out in the yard a lot during the summer, etc, he'll likely go more. But if we're just going out for potty breaks, it's morning, afternoon, evening, and night. He will typically poop twice.
