He may be playing, or has a fear of the way you pick him up... Maybe too fast or he is uncomfortable with the placement of your hands. You can try petting him first before grabbing at him... If he's playing put a spin on the game by reaching for him but then pull your hands back. After a few times he'll be headed for your hands at the same time your hands are headed for him making it easier to get a hold on him. |
