Animal Smiley 019 Butt Problems and Luxating Patella

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the form and created this account because I need some help getting answers which my vet seems unable to help me with.

I'm living in China now where I found my dog in a flower and bird market underneath a crate of birds, instantly fell in love and we took him away from there in a matter of 10 minutes after we negotiated and sorted everything out. I've had my dog Remi for about 2 years and he is 2.5 years old.

The problem:
I recently just found out that he has a luxating patella from a new vet.

The other other undiagnosed issue for almost a year now is that when we are walking all of a sudden he will just start sulking and his little tail will go down and he will kind of curve his body and walk but very slow. This is until I get down and rub his butt and scratch him a bit.

The vet thought that it was his diet and he was allergic from something. We tried new special food but nothing. I'm not sure what's going on here.
Has anyone had a similar problem with their dog or Yorkie?

Thank you!
