Flipping food bowl over Any suggestions or tips as to how to stop Thumper from flipping his food bowl over. I leave some dry food out as he is barely eating in the hopes if he gets hungry he will eat it. Well he has the habit of taking his nose and flipping both the bowl and kibble onto the floor and making a huge mess.
He has always done this but it has gotten worse since Boomer died. He will now not eat any kibble and Thumper was my dog that would eat everything in sight. I went and bought a heavier bowl thinking the weight would help no such luck. I even tried only putting a handful of kibble in the bowl and he still will try and throw it on the floor. It's is like a game to him. He does it with a plate as well.
I would love any suggestions. He use to love his kibble and now hates it. I tried some other kibble and also no luck. He now just eats to survive a little at a time.
