but Lady Jane actually is correct there is no way in knowing if the person that easily handed this pup over is the original or rightful owner, in situations like this it is probably not a bad idea to double check ownership. if the pup came from a bon a fide rescue like Yorkie Haven you would know they would have done this, but from some gal on the street your just don't know. Until Linda posted this questions i never thought about it that way but her question made me think that she was questioning more about where the gal that handed him over got the dog as opposed to where Ed did
