 Kennell Cough ?
Just rescued a 3 year old Yorkie 8 days ago. Not that familiar with the breed. After a few days we noticed he was sneezing a lot and coughing although it sounds more like he is gasping for air ? Took him to the Vet who said he was developing kennel cough and gave us medication for the cough. Well he is almost out of medication and whenever he gets excited he starts making a sound like he is gasping for air ? Should I wait until the medications are gone, or should I take him back to the Vet ASAP ? Any replies would be greatly appreciated. We have no idea of his background since he was brought in to the shelter as a stray. |
