She's so sweet!! My sister in law has a 3lb Pomeranian and he does the same thing some mornings. I've noticed when I watch him sometimes when they go away that if he doesn't have a little snack before bed then he wakes up shakey. It must be related to low blood sugar. Even though he's so tiny, he eats a good amount and so I think sometimes the tiny ones need small, frequent meal. Maybe the food you are giving her may not be balanced enough to keep her full. Maybe you can try mixing some of the liver into the dry food? I find if I moisten it for the little Pomeranian with just a little chicken stock and mix in some finely chopped chicken breast he eats it right up. You can also try the fresh pet moist foods. I sometimes mix those in with the dry food and they love it too. best of luck!! It takes time to find the right combination and which foods they like and don't.
