OH boy, I always wonder how to respond to questions like these. It most depends on the temperament of your two dogs. And you will probably have a large size differential between the collie n Yorkie.

Remember that many adult dogs don't like pups. My youngest big gal was at least two yrs old before I allowed her out in the backyard with the wee one. She had a huge prey drive and is my happy space cadet. But a misplaced paw can seriously injure the Yorkie.

If you are willing to put in the work necessary it could work out just fine. Also have a safe haven for the Yorkie
