I don't have any suggestions but wanted to say that my two loved the snow dump this year! I only put on a warm wool sweater + coat on them. No shoes.
I believe there may be shoes that have two velcro strips, one at the ankle and one higher up on the leg. Those may be better? I never tried them out though. Only saw them when I was also researching dog shoes... and then I just scrapped the idea.
My only concern is the salt on the sidewalks. But I figure that since I always wash their feet in the tub after they come home anyway, it should be okay.
