It is not uncommon for dogs to not eat or drink when you are not home. Does your son live in your home ? If not & he only comes to check on her when you are away, it would be a good idea to try NOT leaving the food down while you are away & have him come a couple of times a day & when he gets to your house then he can put her food down. She will be more likely to eat then & have him pick up her food before he leaves. Welcome to YT !
