After buying everything imaginable (or so it seems) for our new yorkie puppy, I'm ready to buy a metal exercise pen today through Petco. Since reading so many posts about these little escape artists, I'm not sure which height pen to buy--Petco has a 24" high and also a 30" high. It could be a real problem if the dog, which will eventually be about 5-6 pounds, should escape. The dog will be in my daughter's college room that also serves as her workroom--she's an art student. Do you think I should buy the 30" one just to be sure or is the 24" one more than sufficient? I would appreciate your thoughts.
