If both dogs get along I think that would be an awesome arrangement. Think of it as putting your dog in daycare fulltime. I think it would be harder on the person only having him 2 days. I couldn't do that.
However, if you are sharing the dog make sure you work out the details of cost and who will be covering what items. Also any Vet aissuesnd just make sure you are in sync with everything. It might be a lot like children of divorced parents.
