Have you tried the pill in melted cheese? I slightly melt mozzarella cheese and surround the pill with the cheese. It melts around it. It's more difficult to get to than cream cheese.
Interceptor was ofF the market for a long time, but I don't think there are any problems related to it, other than the usual side effects that all medication can have. I was giving Katie Heartgard, but when Interceptor came back on the market, my vet switched her to that. Interceptor is a small pill. My vet is very careful with vaccines and medications, so I trust that it's safer than others.
If you still can't give a pill, I'd talk to the vet about Revolution, which is a topical. Good luck. |
