I think I stated in my 2nd post that I had two mentors – I discussed this with both of them and neither had this problem before and both suggested a few things including AI’s which I have no intentions of doing – I also have a vet who says she is healthy and he sees no reason for her not to breed and said that this sort of thing can and do happen. I was just trying to discern if anyone else may have had the same issue and thought it would be a good topic to discuss on here, apparently not, so be it. BTW IYO what are these message boards for if they are not for asking questions and having discussions. Personally I fear the know-it-all’s, who think they know so much they don’t need to ask questions.

How do I delete this thread and my membership on here as I like the other members that have left don’t need this crap. Yes, I have read a few of the other negative posts on here - not fit - unfortunately Yorkie Talk is not a friendly forum to be on. You all have a nice day, thank-ya much.....
If you want to be a breeder you really need thick skin..... It's important both your mentors have been breeding for a long time which if they had I feel pretty certain they would have gone through this. Vets are actually not educated in every aspect of breeding, they can say whether the dog is healthy enough to have puppies but they don't know the standards of every dog to know if it is the best example of the breed which you should only be breeding. You also should have gone to each specialist to check every aspect of the dog before breeding that is IF you want to do it right. It scares me when breeders are not willing to learn about breeding right.
