 I need help- immediately
Chewie is VERY sick. Now, when I say sick, i don't mean her usual. i mean, she's thrown up a ton of stomach acid (just a few minutes ago) and then had smelly, liquid runs which I've never seen, either. She's on prilosec, and she was given her bully stick that I haven't given her for a long time. Only thing that's new in her life. She does eat her bones. She doesn't just chew, she chews AND eats. She threw up 10 minutes aft er her injection of Cirenia (sp) and was sent home with by mouth pills, but she won't eat a damn thing, so those meds won't go in her mouth or stay down. I asked when her injection would take effect, and was told 30-45 minutes.
I need any types of suggestions. Does prilosec do this? This morning she had a bm full of mucous, and I was told with her last bout of gastroenteritis that was a definite sign of inflammation. Husband thinks it's the prilosec. I don't know what the hell i'm doing to do, as she's never thrown up this much. she needs to drink something. anything. |
