We have a Max also that is getting potty trained. We can say hallelujah now because I think he's got it! He came home at 8 weeks and is 23 weeks old..boy how time flies! About 2 weeks ago he would come sit and stare me down...id ask you have to go potty? He bolted for the door, ran out did his thing then ran back inside (it's been 40 here so too cold to play) he uses pee pads to poop or if I miss his cue he'll use the pad. That's ok as long as it's not on the floor! But I work from home so he's had lots of time to catch on and be trained. And there is probably 3 pads out on the floor he's on so that helps. I also only allow him on the main level of the house, no downstairs, basement or top floor for him till I trust him 100%! That helped once I narrowed his opportunities to hit the floor. I think time ( his maturity level) and putting in the work (us) is what turned the tide for our Max
