Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers for Bella. I am happy to say that she is home now and all went well. I picked her up at around 5 last night...she was very sleepy but she has not whinned or cried at all. She is such a brave strong little girl. While they had her under for the spaying They did a dye test and an ultrasound which ruled out the two kinds of liver shunts that are operable and the others where inconclusive. The vet said although her bile acids were high after she ate when they gave her those tests a few months ago, she shows none of the other signs that these little guys show with a liver shunt. He is going to let her grow some more and watch and see what happens. If she is to show any signs at all I am to bring her in for another kind of test. She is such a strong healthy little girl that my hopes are very high that she will be just fine. Thanks again all for your thoughts and prayers. You are a very special group of people.
