 My Yorkie constantly smells yet he's bathed frequently!
Please help. My Yorkie has over the last few months developed an unpleasant smell. He has dental issues and his mouth is horrid but he himself smells bad. We wash him every few weeks and he's groomed 4-5 times per year. I'm not sure what's going on but now I'm thinking it's a health condition. I did some research and saw that yeast infections and skin infections are common causes of smelly dogs. Anyone else experience this? We have hardwood floors and I feel like the smell is getting deep in it. I wash the floor constantly, light candles and it always smells bad! I'm going to put a call into the vet to see what she says. It it's driving my family crazy that is always smells really bad. |
