My pup has slept with me since the first night I got him. He has never cried or barked and has slept 6 to 7 hours from the first night on. He isn't much of a wetter at night, but wears a belly band - just in case.
Now that he's older (7 months), he definitely doesn't have the need to be with me so much and often will sleep in his own bed or even in the other room on the sofa. Still sleeps with me a lot though.
