If you need to add some chicken to his kibble to get him to eat - don't worry about it, it's okay. The deal is that you don't want the chicken to exceed about 15% of his total diet or it will be out of balance for his health. So, shred the chicken finely so you can get it mixed throughout the kibble and give like that.
Also, you may want to try something easier -- try sprinkling powdered Parmesan Cheese onto his kibble - works like a charm for many dogs!
