I feel bad for you but we've all had bad haircuts. You have 2 choices, you either learn how to groom OR you find a groomer you trust and you stick with him/her. Personally I'm all for option #2 and I have a groomer I like and trust for my yorkie. She knows what I want and expect and she delivers.
Yes, it'll grow back and trust me you little girl is WAY less upset over a bad haircut than you are. All she cares about is that she is loved and has fun. Trust me my yorkie is, she's busy licking my toes (hard at work!) as I type this
If you have the time, learn how to groom your yorkie If you don't shop around, ask questions and try to find a groomer that listens to what you want and does a good yorkie cut.
