I think floppy ears are cute but the reason I was drawn to the Yorkshire terrier was the breed standard imagery and because the breed standard states erect upright ears, I would tend to want to encourage that. I love lots of pups who fall outside the standard
I mean- how could your heart not melt?
but I think as breed advocates who love what the Yorkshire terrier is. we should strive and advocate for the breed standard.
