I tried tarp, I tried the light plastic inserts used for basement lighting, I tried a blanket, I tried a lightweight piece of wood. I can't remember what else I tried cause I've been going thru this since she was 3 months/now she is 8 months. But I came up with this idea, the very same day I learned how to make a thread here. I was planning on asking thru the thread but then this idea worked great and looks good (it takes up a major part of my front , so I like it to look nice even tho it looks like Chloe takes over the house.
I can't scan and do not know how to send pictures here (or else I would have a pretty little picture of Chou next to our name
I would be more then happy to mail you one if u wanted to send me your address. I have a digital camera & dock and know how to to that much! Let me know anytime ok
You will think a professional made it, I am so proud but Chloe isn't!! She no longer can get out when I'm not home. Her 3rd day in it and still intact today.
Also when your husband makes it, tell him depending on what shape, I did "L" shape, so the longer end of the "L" I left 2 panels attached and have it open up like a hinged on top only where I put her bowls. Instead of trying to explain it here, I can write it out and draw a diagram to explain - it'll be easier. All I know is now she is safe, I feel better and it is extremely easy to maintain and has everything she would ever need for a day inside. I even put her in there yesterday when I vacuumed because I had to do it quick and I didn't want to play vacuum tag again.
